GreatJoy Ndlovu is a visual artist who resides in Johannesburg, South Africa and devotes himself to his craft on a full-time basis. Originally from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, he pursued his studies in Art at Cyrene Mission in the Southern region of Matabeleland in Zimbabwe. GreatJoy has achieved significant recognition in the art world within South Africa and internationally, with his work being showcased in local and international art fairs and galleries. He has garnered a growing base of loyal collectors worldwide. His current focus is on depicting masculinity, identity, and abstract representations of thought concepts, particularly evident in his 2019 series “Conversations of a Man”. His primary theme revolves around combining motion and emotion to evoke mental imagery that aligns with his unique artistic style.
